If your Land Rover Series Fairey/Superwinch overdrive jumps out of gear, grinds or simply doesn't drive in one position, the slipper pads are likely to be worn out or the selector fork mis-adjusted.

Changing the pads and adjusting the selector fork can be done without removing the overdrive from the vehicle. The same slipper pads were used in LT77 gearboxes and are cheaply available (Part #532943).

This guide explains how to add hazard lights to a series II/IIA land rover, the wiring should also work for a series III, but the locations of some electrical components will be different.

The Land Rover 2.25 petrol engine was produced and used for 27 years, several changes were made to the crankcase ventilation (breather) system over the years to reduce emissions and to comply with tighter regulations. The breather system fitted to an engine may vary depending on date of manufacture, country and history, this article lists the main types of breather systems used.

I've released RunVCS version 0.2, it has a rewritten configuration loader and a lot of bugfixes.

I've written a tool to help with choosing Land Rover transmission setups, it calculates the total transmission/drivetrain ratio for each gear and the engine speed/gear at chosen road speeds.
